Account & Safety

How do I verify my account?

Go to your profile settings and tap "Verify Phone Number". You will be asked to enter a phone number to receive a one-time SMS code.

How do I delete my account?

We're sad to see you go. Navigate to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and will remove all your data immediately.

How do I report a user?

Tap on the user's avatar in the group chat or member list, then select "Report". Our safety team reviews these reports 24/7.

Using PlateBuds

How do I start a group?

Tap the "+" icon on the map. Select a restaurant, choose a time, and set the table size. Your group will be visible to nearby users immediately.

Is PlateBuds free?

Yes! PlateBuds is 100% free to use. You only pay for your own food at the restaurant.

What if nobody joins?

Groups automatically expire if no one joins by the start time. We recommend starting groups in popular areas during peak meal times for the best results.
